New Restrictions in HRM and Across the Province
Published: December / 04 / 2020

New restrictions came into effect on November 24th that significantly impact events and the event industry. The restrictions are expected to last until midnight on December 16th, with a possibility of an extension.

The new mass gathering limit in public is now five (5) for western and central Halifax Regional Municipality (which is defined as HRM from Hubbards to, and including, Porters Lake and the communities up to Elmsdale and Mount Uniacke in Hants County).

All Nova Scotians are being asked to avoid non-essential travel in and out of western and central HRM.

For all other parts of Nova Scotia, the previous mass gathering limits and restrictions remain in place and are not currently impacted by these changes. We encourage you to visit novascotia.ca/coronavirus to get the latest information on COVID-19.
