Entice Local Travelers with Winter and Spring Packages and Events
Published: November / 10 / 2020

Ongoing marketing initiatives by Tourism Nova Scotia are currently aimed at driving as much tourism activity as safely possible from within the Atlantic bubble. Through the upcoming winter and spring, Tourism Nova Scotia will be inviting locals and Maritimers to take in the incredible events and experiences available across the province.

Marketing initiatives will direct people to NovaScotia.com where they can discover events for regional visitors and travel packages offered by Nova Scotia businesses.

A travel package combines two or more tourism activities, experiences, or products in one single price to make it convenient and easy for travelers to purchase and plan their trip. Packages can provide travelers with inspiration, access to new experiences and encourage travel throughout the province.

Consider being unique and creative with your packages, combining multiple elements with an event – such as food, a guided tour or hands-on program, cultural connections, outdoor activities, or accommodations. Packages can vary in duration from a few hours to overnight or up to three nights. Packages will often feature flavours, stories, experiences and places uniquely available to Nova Scotia.

Research indicates that while local and regional visitors will naturally gravitate towards familiar places and experiences, they will welcome opportunities to discover aspects of Nova Scotia that are new to them, including events and packaged experiences.

You can list packages and events on NovaScotia.com at no cost while increasing your organization’s sales opportunities, business profile and awareness of what you offer.
